![]() At some point I'll sort through them and buy the ones I want, might even be yours because I like tiger stuff (or any big cat related stuff). One thing I know for sure, watchers mean people can find my listing and have enough interest to click the watch button.įYI - I'm watching your tiger socks, I recently cleared out my sock drawer of all the dead and near dead ones so I'm looking at socks and clicked the watch button on a bunch of different ones. I love watchers, I wish they all bought but I know they won't and I know there are dozens of reasons why someone will watch an item. Why? So when they decide that is the $10 widget they want to but they can find there way back to the listing to buy and send YOU money. Then the item ends and they don't pull the trigger to buy it. Why do they do that? Especially on an item that's less than $10! How cheap can some people be? So annoying. The potential reasons to watch an item are nearly annoys me more than a "watcher" on a buy it now. Some items I do not intend to purchase, I just want to keep track of for amusement a listing may have a funny typo or a particularly bad picture I may suspect the account is hijacked or fraudulent and I am waiting to see if the seller receives any feedback. Some items may be similar to other items I already have, but I am curious to see if the seller lists any others like it, and watching one item is a good way to keep track of a seller other than using up one of only a hundred available Saved Seller spots. I may check the feedback the seller receives to see if the item appears to be a good deal that lives up to its description. Some are items that I am considering, but have not decided to purchase yet. Some items are part of a set of items for a project, and I may be waiting until all the parts are available before buying them all at once. ![]() Some of those items are spare parts or replacements for things I have that I may need to purchase in the future but do not need to keep on hand now I spent some time finding the items so that if the need arises I can quickly scan my list and make a purchase, if it becomes necessary. Currently I am watching over a thousand items on a dozen different lists, and many of those items are under $10.
